So a group of us decided to drive up to Layton and go boating. It was super fun. The weather was super nice when we got started but by the time we left it was like 60 something and we were all frozen. I also hadn't been in a few years so i was a little rusty but it was all good. Upsetting.
Even though our team didn't play the best it was still fun to be at the game till about halfway through then it just got sad.
Crazy the amount of people that were around.

Ward Activity
Sept. 18, 2009
So for a ward activity we went boating or at least we were suppose to go boating till it started to storm so bad we got hail... it was fun while it lasted even though I didn't even get to get on a boat. :( I really wanted to go wake boarding. oh well. here are some pictures.

labor day.
Sept. 7, 2009
Savers had a 50% off sale. (Savers is a thrift store) We went a little crazy then went to lunch at red robin.
After lunch we were just fooling around and Jake decided to pretend to be a mannequin. It worked! He got quite a few funny looks as people were leaving the mall.

I can't believe we won! It was amazing! The game was played in Dallas so as a group we decided to go meet the team at the airport when they got back to congratulate them on a game well played. (Their flight came in at 2 am)

So a group of us get an invite to a mocktail black and white party being held at a huge mansion. We decided to have some fun with it. haha here are a few of the pictures from the night.

When we first got to the party it was pretty lame. They had some soft music playing in the back ground and everyone was just standing around. My group of friends and I decided this was not how we wanted the rest of our night to go. After about 20 min of that someone finally turned some good dancing music so the party could begin. Our group started to dance around but no one else was really getting into it. A little while later we were getting really bored of the dancing so we decided to be a little daring. (The mansion we were at was huge and had several pools around the area that we were at.) So we decided to jump in the pool and go for a swim lol yes, fully clothed. I thought I was pretty cool because I was one of the only girls that was brave enough to do it. :) When we got back out and started dancing again it was funny because everyone around us was getting soak by us. Things eventually started to pick up and everyone was dancing. It was a blast! One of the best night so far!! Hopefully there will be more to come!

College.
I've decided to keep a blog during my college years so that i can remember the best time of my life. (mostly just to keep my mom from calling every few minutes. ;) ) I'm super excited to be starting this time in my life. It feels like the rest of my life has just been prep time leading up to university. I can't wait!
Being the eager freshman that I am, I came down about a week early so I could be the first one to move into my new apt. allowing me to pick the room I wanted. I arrive before the doors open at check-in. I couldn't wait! (I had paid my first month's rent early so i could be in the express lane.) towards the beginning of the line they had a list of everyone and their room number so my mom went up and looked to see where I would be. It said 108B so my mom decided to go look around and see if she could find it. Coming back a few minutes later she said that there was no such thing as 108B. I didn't believe her so I decided to go look around too. It was nowhere to me seen. By this time I'm getting a little nervous. We get back in line to just wait and see what they tell us at the front. While waiting someone that worked there walked by so my mom asked where 108B was and they told us it had nothing to do with the room numbers it was just some coding system thing that they used. We finally get up to the front and I find out that I'm going to be in 101A. A little doubtful my mom asks again if this is the right room that I'm suppose to be in. They say yes. So I move in. I love all my roommates. They're all super nice and clean. Just what I wanted. After about 2 days of getting things I'll need and stuff. I come home from ikea to find another girl sitting in our apt. that tells me I no longer live there and that Raintree had made a mistake! (I was devastated! What was I going to do now! I didn't want to leave!) After about a whole evening of arguing and frustration, I finally give up and let the other girl stay there but I don't want to live in the apt. they originally had me assigned to. By the next day we had them convinced to give me all my money back and let me out of my contract. Which was all good but now I was homeless... They whole next day was spent driving around Provo trying to find a place that still had contracts to sell. It was soo frustrating. I had almost given up when we arrived at Branbury. They had 3 rooms left. We had knocked on the first 2 doors. No response. We knock on the last door. That was it! I had found the place. I moved in later that day. I love my new roommates. I think we will be the best of friends! A bit of a rocky start to my first year of college but I'm so glad I'm here!
